When we took our Camera to film the completed water facility we made available in partnership with Jack Rich Tien Aid foundation, and had beautiful and joyous reactions to the water supply that has brought succor to the community.
Before this water intervention, residents explained how their only major source of water was a dry well and an alternative water cost them half of their income daily to afford. The water purchased was also unhealthy hard water.
But this water project solved the challenge of water and also good health. Like in previous communities mentioned, the facility consists of 120 litres capacity potable water tanks, a state-of-the-art water treatment plant, electric and solar panel powered farm, Ancillary works, fetching points by reticulation, borehole, with qualified staff to operate it. It has been put to use in 2018.
Wouldn’t you love to visit such an agrarian town called Kumo?
